Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Those are the guidelines most businesses and courts in the United States point to.
What we've done
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Pages use headings, landmarks and labels that screen readers can follow.
- Every form field has a label, and form errors are written out next to the field they belong to.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the site turns its animations off. Scrolling banners can be paused.
- Pages work when zoomed to 200% and on small screens.
- We test with automated tools, keyboard-only walkthroughs and browser accessibility checks.
Known limits
- Our portfolio includes previews of websites we built for clients. Those previews are shown as samples and may not meet every guideline.
- A few tools on this site come from other companies, such as the security check on our contact form. We choose accessible options where we can, but we don't control how they're built.
